Hive Kit Pick-Up and Assembly Workshop
The Workshop will be held on Saturday, March 18th, from 8am until about 1pm. You have the
option to simply pickup your equipment and take it home to assemble on your own, or to
take a workstation and begin assembly with guidance from experienced volunteers.
Go to the loading dock door on the East side of the 1400 building (South side of Hwy 44) at Maritz.
Please be sure to bring your hive kit shipping fees with you to the workshop, these fees are not included in the hive kit prices. Shipping charges are $25.00 for one hive kit & $40.00 for two hive kits.
This is a fantastic opportunity for social networking and getting a jump start on your beekeeping
hobby. Procrastination is the enemy of the beekeeper. The goal is to get you started on your assembly.
It is very unlikely you will have time to assemble all of your equipment that day, but you will be well on your way.
WHAT TO BRING:
If you plan to begin assembling your equipment, here is a list of items you should bring with you to
Exterior wood glue (make sure it is exterior grade)
Black magic marker
Vehicle large enough to put your assembled equipment into.
Volunteers are always needed to make events successful. If you have some free time and would
like to help out during the day, please stop in and lend a helping hand.
We look forward to seeing everyone at the workshop.
