Don't know anything about this guy or his bees, but I saw this posting on Craigslist: http://stlouis.craigslist.org/grd/1590680648.html
Maybe you can let us know if it sounds interesting. I also saw this listing that, again, don't know anything about him or his bees. It says pickup in Springfield, but maybe if there are enough people from STL, he could find someone to deliver. http://stlouis.craigslist.org/grd/1630025778.html Good luck! |

I think you may be able to place orders with David Burns @ Long Lane (he spoke with the club a while back). He's not too terribly far from STL and I think he'll ship em out to you.
According to their homepage, they're accepting orders now. http://www.honeybeesonline.com/ |

Check with Art and Vera Gelder at Walk-About Acres. If you don't mind a 2-hr drive to Columbia, MO, they may have some? They had 300 packages on Saturday...what a sight!
Walk-About Acres Art and Vera Gelder 6800 North Kircher Road Columbia, MO. 65202-7652 Telephone: 573-474-8837 Fax: 573-474-5830 E-mail: walkaboutacres@agristar.net Website: walk-aboutacres.net Also, the club may have some queens left over (check with Bob Sears). If you could find a couple of frames of brood/nurse bees, with one of the queens you could potentially start a Nuc. The other option would be to get your name on the swarm list. |

I bought a queen Saturday at Danforth and have used a couple brood frames from another one of my hives. So far so good...
